Archana Girishkumar

As Head of Finance, Archana Girishkumar is responsible for leading all financial operations at Hitachi Digital Services. She brings more than 20 years of global finance experience, with a strong track record of driving strategic growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance across complex, matrixed organizations.

Before joining Hitachi Digital Services, Archana held senior leadership roles at Cognizant and General Electric Company (GE), where she led multiple finance functions, supported executive decision-making, and helped scale finance operations across regions. Her career spans a wide range of responsibilities including global revenue management, financial planning and analysis, compliance, and digital finance transformation.

In her most senior role as Director of FP&A at Cognizant, Archana led global financial operations, managed revenue and budgeting strategies, and drove digital transformation initiatives to align finance with business growth.

Archana earned a master’s degree in accounting and financial management from Chennai, India. She is known for her ability to align financial strategy with business objectives, lead high-performing teams, and deliver sustainable value in fast-paced environments.

Archana holds a master’s degree in accounting and financial management from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India in Chennai, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, also in Chennai.
