My Hitachi Journey

I’m a Client Partner for one of our key strategic accounts in EMEA. I am responsible for growing the revenue year-on-year for that account. To meet this objective, I have an extensive ‘virtual team’ across Delivery, Technical Solutions Office, and Marketing. Coupled with excellent leadership, I feel supported and confident each year in meeting my sales targets.

Having said this, my main motivation is meeting my client’s needs and building strong long-lasting relationships while delivering impactful solutions. I thoroughly enjoy the innovative side of my role, such as helping to shape and align Hitachi offerings with my client’s approach on areas such as Data Mesh and Cloud Acceleration. Overall, my role allows me to take a truly client centric approach to selling and achieve the best results for me and my client base.

Evolution of my role

As the organization and business grew, I was able to take on new roles and advance my career at Hitachi. I started off as a sales executive selling Hitachi Data Storage products progressing into selling data/cloud and consultancy services as a Client Partner in my current role. I saw the merger with Hitachi Consulting, which is the backbone to the Digital Solutions Business Unit, as a fantastic career opportunity. It enabled me to expand the reach of who I can sell to in my accounts and allowing me to have more enriching C-level engagements and further grow my network.

My career highlights

  • Closing my $60m deal at one of the leading UK Banks
  • Winning a strategic transformation RFP with my current client. I see this as the first step of growing this account
  • Becoming Chairperson for Women of Hitachi ERG; Hitachi keeps Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the core of all that it does

What keeps me here
