As Chief Operating Officer (COO), Rajashekar (Raj) oversees end-to-end operations of the Hitachi Digital Services business – from operational policies and strategic transformation initiatives to budget management and organizational synergies and P&L execution.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Raj has a proven track record of delivering transformational business outcomes, driving profitable growth, and building strong and collaborative teams.
Before joining Hitachi in 2020, Raj spent 18 years at Cognizant in a variety of operational and business development leadership roles. Most notably, he managed operations for Cognizant’s Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business and helped scale it from $0.5 Billion to $2.0 Billion.
Raj is a graduate of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani with a degree in engineering.
